FULLERTON ART MSUEUM HOSTS “SPOOKY NIGHTS” FOR HALLOWEEN

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Trick-or-treat with the mummies, scavenger hunt for
ancient Egyptian artifacts and enjoy “Spooky Nights” at Cal State San Bernardino’s
Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum.

On Oct. 26, 27 and 31 the Fullerton Art Museum will host its first “Spooky Nights at the
Museum” from 8-10 p.m. each evening. The program will include a costume contest,
scavenger hunt, trivia games and museum-at-night tours.

In 2006, an estimated 36.1 million trick-or-treaters knocked on doors across the country.
This year, 73 percent of Americans are expected to participate in Halloween festivities.
Halloween is considered one of the top five holidays of the year. To celebrate this
popular day, CSUSB’s Fullerton Art Museum offers an Egyptian-inspired event for
Halloween-goers throughout the local community.

A family-friendly event, participants can win prizes for the best Egyptian-inspired
costume and a special appearance will be made by a “real-life” mummy.

General admission for the event is $5 per person, $10 per couple and $20 per family of
four. Admission for Friends of the Museum is free. For more information on “Spooky Nights at the Museum,” contact the Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum, Visitor Services, at
(909) 537-3374 or by e-mail ttalavera@csusb.edu.
