NATER HANEB

Acquired in 2004, Egyptian Late Period mummy coffin of Nater Haneb, on display at the museum since February 2005, has been extremely popular among museum visitors of different ages. The acquisition – our first ever auction purchase – proves the museum’s and university’s commitment to building a comprehensive collection of Egyptian antiquities. The object will be a main highlight of our upcoming Summer Egyptian Workshop for Kids.
